Thoughts to Ponder

THOUGHT: The art of safe driving is to create space for your vehicle, irrespective of how big it is and move forward safely without endangering others, to reach your destination, and live your life.

THOUGHT: Thinking sharpens the brain, while sleeping dulls it. When your brain becomes a blunt instrument, it causes illiteracy and poverty. Man must strive always to educate himself, and not wait for someone to feed him.

THOUGHT: Smiles are superficial. They do not guarantee relationships to be carried across life unbroken and untarnished. It is necessary for us to fine tune ourselves to each other’s mental vibes through adequate communication, which involves listening more to what the other person has to say rather than being concerned with what you have to say.

THOUGHT: People have to stop building their own mental worlds. They have to rather help prevent other people’s worlds from crumbling and falling down. Writing and talking about it won’t help. It’s better we act. The sooner we begin the lesser damage is done.

THOUGHT: Philosophizing is a magician’s trick and a ventriloquist’s act. The deed is the act of a man.

THOUGHT: Nothing will happen or get created in our world on their own. We have got to make things happen. A ship at dock never sailed will rust and go to waste. The ship that sails either does a safe sail or drown. It’s either of the two, but a result is certain rather than sitting at dock, high and dry. A ship may also limp back home and can be set right for another sail.

THOUGHT: Cigarettes and drink are man-made pleasures, double removed from nature and packed in rolls of paper and bottles. Women are God’s gift to man, someone who is there to be a companion, a helper, and a person in her own right.

THOUGHT: The more you talk, the less you prove.

THOUGHT: Man can halt artificial elements, not the natural element of time, the turning of day into night.

THOUGHT: Humans are gullible. They often think they’re so near their goals, that they have achieved results and honor, when the fact is that they haven’t yet begun.

THOUGHT: Ink by itself is of no worth till it is streamed in the form of words, across lines to form legible thought that conveys meaning to enlighten and educate, and benefit others.
